Course Overview
This Level 3 qualification provides learners with a range of skills and knowledge of data science including using Python, data engineering and big data handling, data visualisation and statistical modelling.
Learners will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to prepare them for progression into further learning in the subject or into Data Technician or other job roles requiring data handling and manipulation in a range of sectors.

Entry Requirement
CXC Math, Statistics, Information Technology or level qualification in Data Analytics/Science or significant experience in Data Analytics/Science is recommended.
Progression
Achievement of one of these qualifications confirms the learner has gained the knowledge and skills required to:
- Progress directly into employment as a Data Technician or similar Role.
- Progress into the
level 4 Diploma in Data Analytics or further learning at a higher level.
